European Institutions staff treatment: two weights and two measures

The trade union Conf-SFE is delighted to announce the arrival of the equivalent of a full month salary.
Parents: Mr. and Mrs. Adjustment 2011 and 2012
Brother and sister: Pension contribution decrease in 2011 and 2012
Unfortunately we do not know the birth date as the Tribunal has not yet delivered its judgment. We hope that there will be no complications.

An explanation of the context
Fast decisions can be taken if they go against the European Institutions staff interests. Do not forget that the staff regulations reform was buckled in a few weeks under the Irish Presidency.
On the contrary, when it comes to adjustments in favour of our staff, it takes months, even years.
Meanwhile salary adjustments related to 2011 and 2012 and decreases in the pension contribution (the Commission proposals reducing the pension contribution paid by the EU staff to 11% and later to 10.6% are still not adopted by the Council) amount to a full monthly salary as detailed in the table below. So you are entitled to a full month's salary, but when will you get it…?
Let there be no misunderstanding you will not get a full salary on 14/11/2013 but you have legitimate expectations on the equivalent amount. We have chosen this date because all amounts due reach the total of one monthly salary.
