Do not accept a reduction in your CDR points just because you were promoted last year!
CONF-SFE has supported and won an appeal by one of its members (Case F-19/06: http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexUriServ.do?uri=CELEX:62006W0019:FR:HTML, whose 2004 CDR was unjustly reduced by 2 points compared to 2003, with no justification.
Although the Joint Evaluation Committee of the DG in question had recommended revising the CDR of our member who had unjustly lost 2 points, the appeal assessor ignored this advice.
Our member therefore had no choice but to launch an Article 90 complaint, which the Appointing Authority rejected without offering any more justification than was provided by the Director- General in question.
Today, justice has been done.
We send this message to all reporting officers, countersigning officers and appeal assessors: it’s time to stop reducing the merit points of staff just because they are promoted! It is just absurd!
Colleagues, think about joining CONF-SFE, the organisation which successfully defends its member’s interests.
Join CONF-SFE to show Mr Kallas that the new CDR which he is preparing is not acceptable in its present form.
